Join Arwel Morris, the National Park Authority's Area Warden for Llyn Tegid and Penllyn, on a guided-walk of Cefnddwygraig, Y Bala.

Arwel will guide you along the new flood defence wall at the northern end of Llyn Tegid, followed by a moderate climb through Coed Penybont. After the woods, you'll be guided along Mynydd Cefnddwygraig to Rhosygwaliau before arriving back at Y Bala to complete the route.

The walk offer views of Llyn Tegid, the town of Bala and, on a clear day, Yr Wyddfa.

The Route
Bala, Cefnddwygraig and Rhosygwaliau Loop
Distance: Approximately 2.5 miles
Estimated duration: 2.5 hours
Walk includes some moderate climbs

Please note that this route has been graded as a Leisurely route by Eryri's National Park Authority. It is suitable for people with a reasonable/moderate level of fitness. The terrain may include unsurfaced and undulating rural paths. Walking boots and waterproof clothing are recommended.
