Why this path?

This scenic route traverses one of the most beautiful and dramatic areas within Eryri National Park. Known for its versatility, the path accommodates walkers, cyclists, and even horses. Leading through a variety of landscapes, this route offers fantastic views of the Gwyrfai Valley and the surrounding area, including stunning views of Yr Wyddfa.

About the journey:

  • Grade: Mild/moderate
  • Facilities: Toilets and picnic benches
  • Terrain: A flat path with some hilly areas towards the Yr Wyddfa sides of the journey.
  • Start/End point: Eryri National Park car park, Rhyd Ddu.
