Help safeguard and nurture one of Wales’ most cherished landscapes, as a Member of Snowdonia National Park Authority.

There is currently a vacancy for a Welsh Government appointed Member for the Authority.  The recruitment process for this role will commence on the 29th of September and will run for a month until the 28th of October 2021. The Authority is made of 18 Members, 9 of which are appointed by Gwynedd Council, 3 are appointed by Conwy County Borough Council, and the remaining 6 being appointed by Welsh Government.

The Welsh Government would welcome applications from those with a range of backgrounds and lived experience. Public sector experience is not essential.

Committing to 44 days a year, you’ll help provide effective leadership for which you will receive remuneration plus expenses.
