Each month, one of Eryri's National Park Authority Wardens choose one of their favourite walks in the National Park. They also host a guided walk along their chosen route.

This month's (April 2023) 'Warden's Walk of the Month' is Cwm Idwal and was chosen by Alan Pritchard, the National Park Authority's Carneddau Warden.

Cwm Idwal Walk

Cwm Idwal is one of the most impressive areas of the National Park’s landscape. The crater-like cavity of Cwm Idwal is the result of phenomenal geological activity that took place millions of years ago.
